Hi, I'm Izzy
I've been grooming dogs and cats since 2019 and I am absolutely passionate about what I do. I trained at Writtle College, hold City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 qualifications, and I'm a proud member of the British Isles Grooming Association.
I've won awards at multiple dog grooming competitions and competed at Crufts, the world's greatest dog show, so when your dog comes to me they're in the hands of a groomer who truly knows their craft.
I specialise in teddy bear trims, Asian Fusion styling and poodle grooming, and I also teach Asian Fusion styling to other groomers at practical grooming seminars.
Every dog is different and I treat each one as an individual. No rush, no stress. Just expert, caring grooming in a calm salon in Little Totham.

Everything you need to know about dog grooming at Izzy's Groom Room in Little Totham, near Maldon.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the breed of your dog. Regular grooms keep the coat healthy, comfortable and free from mats, and I'm always happy to recommend the right routine for your dog.
When can my puppy have their first groom?
From their 2nd vaccination. My Puppy Intro gently gets them used to the salon, the dryer and being handled, so they grow up relaxed about grooming.
My dog is nervous. Can you still groom them?
Yes, I can. I tailor the grooming process to your dog and work at their pace in a calm, quiet salon. Just let me know about any worries when you book.
What happens if my dog's coat is matted?
If your dog is matted, their coat will have to be clipped short. We can then grow the coat back and get the look you'd like, and I'll show you how to care for your dog's coat at home so it stays tangle free.
How long does a groom take?
It depends on the size of your dog. Small to medium breeds take between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours for a standard clip off.
How much does a groom cost?
Every dog is priced individually, depending on their breed, size and coat condition. Send me your dog's details using the form or give me a call on 07415 499269 and I'll give you a quote.
Do you groom cats?
Yes! I groom cats, and it's so different to dog grooming. I offer cat grooming with a bath, blow dry and brush out, as well as the lion trim for long haired cats.

I'm based in Little Totham, near Maldon, at Tarry Wood, Park Wood Lane, CM9 8LE. Clients come to me from Maldon, Tiptree, Witham, Chelmsford and the surrounding villages.
