What's included in a cockapoo groom

Every full groom is the full works, finished in the style that suits your dog and your lifestyle.

• Bath with a shampoo and conditioner suited to their coat
• Full blow dry and thorough brush out
• Scissor or clipper cut, from a fluffy teddy trim to a shorter, easy care clip
• Nail clip and ear clean
• Finishing spritz so they go home smelling amazing

You can add a mud mask treatment or teeth cleaning to any groom. Tell me how you'd like your dog to look when you book, or bring a photo, and I'll talk you through what will work best for their coat.

How often should a cockapoo be groomed?

Every 6 to 8 weeks. Cockapoo, poodle and doodle coats keep growing and tangle easily, especially behind the ears, under the legs and around the collar. Regular grooms keep them comfortable and stop knots turning into mats.

What if my cockapoo is matted?

If your dog is matted, their coat will have to be clipped short. It's the kindest option for them. We can then grow the coat back and get the look you'd like, and I'll show you how to care for your dog's coat at home so it stays tangle free.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of your dog. Small to medium breeds take between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours for a standard clip off.
